Event Details

Jabberwocky returns February 20 with help from IndyFringe, Storytelling Arts of Indiana, Hamilton County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau and Nickel Plate Arts. Start thinking ahead, and plan to share your funniest, least romantic tales of love gone wrong! This night of life-lessons and laughs is free for anyone to attend and welcomes spontaneous individuals to share their stories should they feel compelled to grab the microphone. Opening jabbers will share stories of love as those interested in open mic are free to share a story topic of their choice. Indianapolis artist, Tony Styxx, guest performer with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and show opener at TedxInd will be performing spoken word and emceeing the event. Light refreshments will be served throughout the night. Storytelling events recognize and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences, as well as further create a sense of place within our community. Jabberwocky welcomes individuals for laughs, wisdom and conversation with one another as we dive deeper into the stories present right here in our community. Please keep in mind Jabberwocky events are open mic and the content is best suited for young adults and older. To learn more about Jabberwocky events, visit www.Fishers.in.us/Parks.
