Thursday, October 18, at 7 p.m. at the Fishers Library, Eric Anderson of Scientifically Speaking will discuss how small and large businesses are using social media as a way to creatively market their services and products, and how the application of social media is critical for businesses and should be a vital part of every marketing plan. The BIG questions which will be discussed include: which medium to use (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Pinterest and LinkedIn); how to use them as part of your marketing plan; how do you organize your social media strategy, and using analytics to know if it is working? This free interactive presentation will describe the benefits and features of social media, implementation strategies and how to measure success. Case studies will be presented on how entrepreneurs are using social media to connect with customers. Attendees will leave the presentation with a more clear understanding of the professional applications of social media.
