Event Details

What is a junk journal? It is a handmade journal made out of recycled paper and materials, using paper from old books, shopping bags, letters, and more! People use them as planners, diaries, art journals, and scrapbooks. We will show you how to make your own junk journal.

We will provide all the basic supplies, but you can bring in your own items to make the journal more personalized. Items that are good to use are:

Receipts, bus/concert/movie tickets, drink sleeves, wrappers, maps, pages from books or magazines, ribbons/yarn/fabric scraps, flyers/pamphlets, old journal entries, old school projects/tests/papers, letters, holiday and birthday cards, drawings/paintings/artwork, newspaper clippings, doilies, trading cards, shopping bags, thin cardboard packaging, stickers, tissue paper, wrapping paper, sheet music, old posters

For teens only. Registration required.
