Hamilton County resident Frederick Stahly's IMDb page lists professional credits and an Emmy nomination and two Golden Reel awards for his work on such films as A Star is Born and Bourne Ultimatum and the current TV show, Netflix's Lost in Space and NBC's Chicago Fire and Chicago PD.  In this workshop, he will demonstrate the practical and aesthetic use of sound in television and film through his work. He will share how he records custom sound effects, works with production dialogue and dialogue replacement, edits sound effects and mixes a final track.  Patrons will come away with a basic understanding of the postproduction sound process in television and film.
