The hardest part of weaving is learning to set up your loom! In this hands-on class, we will review floor loom terminology, accessories, and the process of “warping” (measuring out your yarn and tying on to the loom with proper tension). The basics of reading loom drafts and patterning will also be covered. After completing this course, you will have a better idea of what working on a floor loom entails and a deeper appreciation for the art of weaving. Registration begins two weeks prior to class. Ages 13 and up.
