The Teen Movie & Discussion series includes movies that highlight similar themes found in the teen community read, Dear Martin, by Nic Stone. Thoughtful and respectful discussions about the topics will follow each showing.

At this virtual event, we will be watching Selma, rated PG-13, the true story about civil-rights activists who marched from Selma, Alabama, to Montgomery to secure voting rights for black Americans. For grades 6-12. Registration required.

While HEPL staff will work to ensure patron safety during virtual programs, it is understood that all participants in our Zoom meetings agree to the Zoom privacy policy here and that each participant will practice safe online behavior using the guidance at ConnectSafely.org.
