Would you like to read to a dog? Bring your favorite book or choose one with the help of a librarian and spend some time reading out loud to a special furry friend! Love on a Leash will have local volunteers here with their registered therapy dogs. Reading to dogs helps kids build self-esteem and confidence as well as valuable reading skills. Sign up for a 15 minute time slot the day of the program; sign up sheets will be available at the door. This program is for readers 5 and up.
