Learn how the Hamilton County Solar Co-op makes it easy to go solar. The co-op–a nonprofit partnership between the Carmel Green Initiative, Solarize Indiana and Solar United Neighbors of Indiana–has helped dozens of homeowners go solar by providing vendor-neutral consumer education. You’ll learn about solar components for your home or small business, warranties, general pricing information and more to help you make an informed decision about whether solar is right for you. You’ll also learn how to take advantage of net metering and the 26% federal tax credit this year which makes solar more affordable. Net metering will not be available to new solar owners next summer, unless legislation is passed to extend it.
